Customer Care Executive cover letter example
By Bhagirath Sheela, founder of JobCatch ·
This letter was drafted by JobCatch's cover-letter writer from the sample Customer Care Executive resume, for a plain posting for the role. It uses only what is already on the resume — the current job, its strongest bullets and the skills the posting asks for that the resume has. It invents nothing, which is why it is short.
The letter, as text
I am writing to apply for the Customer Care Executive position. I currently work as Customer Care Executive at Connectwell Telecom Services.
Some of what I have done:
- Handle about 80 inbound calls a shift for a telecom company's postpaid customers, in English and Hindi.
- Kept CSAT at 92% and quality scores above 95% for four straight quarters.
- Brought average handle time down from 7 to 5 minutes by using the knowledge base and call templates.
The role asks for Customer service, English, Hindi, Data entry, Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM, which I have worked with.
I would welcome the chance to talk about how I could contribute. My resume is attached. Thank you for your time.
What to add for a Customer Care Executive role
Mention your languages, the process you have worked in and your shift availability. BPO recruiters shortlist on those three points.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
