Medical Coder cover letter example

- Audit junior coders' charts and give weekly feedback; the team's accuracy rose from 93% to 96%.
The role asks for Medical coding, Clinical documentation, Microsoft Excel, English and Data entry, which I have worked with.

What to add for a Medical Coder role
State your certification, the specialties you code and your accuracy. Coding managers hire on those three figures.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
