Project Manager cover letter example

I am writing to apply for the Project Manager position. I currently work as Senior Project Manager at Finstack Banking Solutions.
Some of what I have done:
- Run a ₹40 crore digital-banking programme with 70 people across three vendors.
- Delivered all five major releases on their committed dates, and the programme 4% under budget.
- Introduced a weekly risk review that caught a data-migration slip three weeks early.
The role asks for Project management, Stakeholder management, Agile methodology, JIRA, Confluence and Vendor management, which I have worked with.
I would welcome the chance to talk about how I could contribute. My resume is attached. Thank you for your time.
What to add for a Project Manager role
Describe one project by budget, team and how it finished against plan. Delivery managers are compared on exactly those numbers.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
