Business Analyst cover letter example

I am writing to apply for the Business Analyst position. I currently work as Business Analyst at Fintrust Bank Technology.
Some of what I have done:
- Wrote the BRD and 140 user stories for a digital personal-loan journey; approval time fell from five days to six hours.
- Mapped the current and target processes for account opening across 12 branches and found 9 duplicated checks.
- Ran weekly backlog grooming with business owners and two development teams in JIRA.
The role asks for Requirement gathering, Stakeholder management, SQL, Microsoft Excel, JIRA and Confluence, which I have worked with.

What to add for a Business Analyst role
Say whether you are an IT or an analytics BA, and name the domain you know. Then give one requirement or analysis that changed a product or process.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
