Documentation on a resume
By Bhagirath Sheela, founder of JobCatch ·
Documentation is in the skills of 13 of the resume examples on this site. Put it in your skills, then in a bullet with the volume you handled and what improved. Operations work is judged on numbers.
Spell it the way postings do
An applicant tracking system matches the words in the posting and does not reliably treat two spellings as one skill. Most postings write Documentation. Other spellings people use: Technical writing, Record keeping. Use the posting's own spelling for each application.
