Python Developer cover letter example

- Moved report generation to Celery workers, cutting API timeouts during month-end by 95%.
The role asks for Python, Django, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs and PostgreSQL, which I have worked with.

What to add for a Python Developer role
State which kind of Python work you want, web or data, and back it with one project. A focused letter beats one that tries to cover both.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
