Solutions Architect cover letter example

I am writing to apply for the Solutions Architect position. I currently work as Solutions Architect at Cloudbridge Consulting.
Some of what I have done:
- Designed a multi-region order platform on AWS for a retail client handling 1.5 crore orders a month.
- Cut a bank client's infrastructure bill by 40% by moving batch workloads to serverless and spot capacity.
- Led 22 pre-sales workshops and wrote the technical proposals for deals worth ₹85 crore.
The role asks for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Microservices, Kubernetes and Terraform, which I have worked with.
I would welcome the chance to talk about how I could contribute. My resume is attached. Thank you for your time.
What to add for a Solutions Architect role
Describe one design and what it saved the client in cost or risk. Architect roles are judged on outcomes, and often read by business people too.
Before you send it
- Name the company and, if you can find it, the hiring manager.
- Add one sentence on why this company: something specific you read about it.
- Keep it under one page, and send it as a PDF with the same name and contact line as your resume.
What to leave out
- Adjectives about yourself — "passionate", "results-driven", "hardworking". Facts do that job better.
- Your whole resume again. Pick the two or three things that matter most for this job.
- Salary, notice period and personal details, unless the posting asks for them in the letter.
